Oh man ,Your guts aren’t in lilly perfect Santa Barbara. The way you rode along in your rent abuse car, talking of you Juan nite, while I am living the not being in Spain life today, made me feel for a fleeting few seconds, I was in that great car ride, going with you. Then the keypad, made more typing sounds, my party dream was over. Thanks for the few seconds of Spain air blowing from my CPU fan. Can’t wait to hear more Spain and the “Show”

snif snif, the dog in the yard, John

Good conversation.

You know, when you talk about sacrifice for your Magic, it is very true. I’m working into becoming a full time performer and it is difficult. Especially at 54 and ‘starting out’ again.
You guys are definitely an inspiration.

I’ve heard so much of Juan and now I’m very excited to study more about him and his philosophy. Your blogs are the best turn ons….don’t tell my boyfriend ok? ;-)

Listening to this podcast, I realized what makes Aaron such a great magician. As he recounted the story of going with Larry Jennings to see Juan Tamariz and the both of them feeling like three year-olds during the show, I experienced Aaron’s excitement, I felt his sense of being awestruck. All this, and I was (obviously) never even at this event that occurred many years ago.

It is this storytelling ability, this skill at transporting your audience to another place and getting them to feel what you want them to feel, that distinguishes the greats. Aaron rules (he’s also hilarious.)
