This new podcast will clue you in on how to get yourself a real magic mentor. After all, forging a relationship with a more knowledgeable magician is one of the best things you can do to push your magic forward – this podcast will tell you how.
Enjoy – and make sure to drop me a comment to let me know what you think!
If you haven’t heard it yet, make sure to check out the last installment in my series on the student/teacher relationship. It’s about one of my first mentors and a dear friend. You can find it here.

I actually did ome up with a few questions just from that podcast but I’ll keep em for a little.
Another great pod cast. Aaron, I do appreciate your personal touch and being real with your listeners. I for one must be living in a closet. I would love to find a mentor but really had no clue as to how to go about it. Most of the people I know who are into this stuff are at the same level as myself or slightly ahead. We all are spending time searching for more info to better ourselves but as it seems to me that it all comes at a price (literally). We get what we pay for. Hear is your slight, thank you for the purchase and enjoy. The benefit of a mentor are obvious but how to get a great one? Love your stuff! Just got ahold of The Paper Engine and am enjoying it.
Really good podcast this time around, I enjoyed it. However, what if, in my situation, there are not really a lot of older and more experienced magicians around your area? I have a friend who also does magic and we get together a lot and learn from eachother, but its a not a “student-teacher” relationship because we are the same age. How do I get a mentor, someone I can learn from and gain knowledge from, when they are scarce around where I live? I definatly want someone like that, but can’t seem to find anyone. Any advice on this?
Thanks for the podcasts Aaron, they are full of great stuff.
Another great installment. Thanks Aaron and Co…!!
